   Legs – cotton print, stripe, polka dot, swirl etc...
Cloth Covered Wire (floral Wire) - White - 26 gauge for wings & arms; 20or 22 gauge for legs
White Floral Tape
Glue – Fabri-tac and Tacky Glue
Upholstery Thread or Hand Quilting Thread – Natural Color (for sewing parts together)
Tibetan Lamb Mohair
Silk flower petals & leaves, velvet leaves
Gel Pens and Colored Pencil
Clear Matte or Satin Spray to seal the face after coloring
Hemostats – for turning & stuffing
Needles for hand sewing (long quilt basting needles work wonderfully for dollmaking)




Materials List For Brownies Class:
*Fabric:
  Body/Arms/Head – cotton broadcloth or muslin in flesh tones
  Legs – striped cotton print
  Felt for Jacket/Pants/Hat – Small amount of at least three colors. I love wool felt but any type of felt will work wonderfully. Brownies prefer shades of brown for their clothing.
  Blouse/Pantalettes/Tunic – muslin or batiste fabrics will work for these.
*Tiny Buttons
*Lace – ¼” to ½” wide
*Leather for shoes (joggles.com carries a thin leather in white; it will need to be dyed. Rit dyes work great!)
*Cardboard for shoe soles
*Cloth Covered Wire – 20 or 22 gauge for legs & arms
*White Floral Tape

(yardage based on 45" fabrics): To Make one 25" Doll You Will Need the Following:
*3/4 yard good quality woven cotton fabric/muslin (for doll)
*Poly-fil stuffing (you may also use wool or cotton)
*1/2” wooden dowel (cut to 9" length)
*Acrylic Paints in following colors, or choose your own: Dark Brown (Burnt Umber), Peach, White, Antique White, Barn Red, Blue (Cobalt Blue), Black
*Gel Pen metallic gold color for outlining the heart
*Clear Spray Sealer or Varnish - matte finish (water based!)
*Sand Paper (I found fine grit sand paper -220 grit- in my hubby's workshop)
*Clothing Materials for one doll
*Dress: 1 yard cotton, solid color or print
*Six ½” buttons
*Six ¼” shank buttons for sleeve decor
*1" wide gathered lace for yoke
*1 ½” wide flat lace for skirt bottom and cuffs
*Chemise & Drawers: 1 yard cotton batiste
*Two ½” buttons
*1/2” wide lace for chemise skirt bottom
*Ribbon drawstring for drawers
*1 ½” or 2" wide lace for drawer legs
*Apron: ½ yard white cotton fabric
*Embroidery Floss for doing a bit of decoration on apron, chemise and dress
*Needles for hand sewing (one with a large eye for doing the ribbon lacing on the boots)
*Thread, Sewing machine, scissors.....
