Whew! I have been having a blast, yes it is hard work Virginia, but I love my job. Now I'm a little late in getting my class schedule up here but it is here and I will work with any group; be it friends, co-workers, or a club; in scheduling your own Creative class day! Class size is limited so
Class Schedule: YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE CLASS DATE!
*For each class you must: Pattern & Materials list provided upon registration.
One week or more Pre-Registration is required, Always!
**Each workshop Must be paid for in advance and is non-refundable once you have received the pattern & class materials. But it can be rescheduled to suit your schedule.
10th: Tuesday 10:30am – 5pm –
Henhouse Gathering FREE $0.00 FREE! We will hold our free 1st annual “Get to know your Sewing Machine” Day. Bring in your machine and we’ll show you how to clean, oil and keep up the maintenance on the old girl! Bring a snack, finger food, chips/dip, or cookies to share throughout the day, Coffee and other refreshments will be provided.
12th: Thursday 10am-1pm –
Sewing Technique Class- Spool Pincushion $25.00 In this class you will complete a pretty little pincushion while learning to create your own bias tape binding, how to apply it to fabric edges, stuffing techniques, And have fun doing it! *
13th: Friday 10am-12pm/1pm-3pm (overtime allowed!) –
Dollmaking Techniques Class - $35.00 - Making Faces – Learn how to construct a flat cloth doll head in a few different sizes & draw, paint, and stitch faces onto them. No need to know how to draw! *
17, 24, 31st: Tuesday’s 9:30am-1pm
Three Day Workshop – Dollmaking $75.00 (**$25.00 per day) Jillie Kat Jester Cloth doll with face mask technique.
18th: 10am-12pm/1-3pm (overtime allowed!)
Sewing Technique Class- Dollmaking Techniques Class - $35.00 - Hand Crafting! Learn to make those cloth doll hands look like real ones! There are so many techniques to learn in this class, I’m not listing them all... hand needlesculpting, stuffing techniques, wiring posable fingers, and more...
19, 26, & 2nd: Thursday’s 9:30am-1pm
Three Day Workshop – Dollmaking $75.00 (**$25.00 per day) TiggyWinkles are dolls and huggable pillows in one. Big, Colorful, fiber art cloth Fun! Learn to craft your own pieced, painted and stitched fabrics, basic cloth doll construction, embroidery stitches, drawing faces on cloth and more.
20th:10am-12pm/1-3pm

Sewing Techniques Class – Fanciful Tote Bagmaking Class - $35.00 Every time we have this class is like the first time, each and every tote is so original and unique not to mention the techniques learned and fun to be had. This tote uses purchased fabric as the base of the bag.
27th: Wednesday 10am-12pm/1pm-3pm (overtime allowed!)–
Sewing Techniques Class – Fancy Pants Tote Bagmaking Class - $35.00
Every time we have this class is like the first time, each and every tote is so original and unique not to mention the techniques learned and fun to be had. This tote uses a big old pair of jeans as the base of the bag. The bigger the jeans the better! (you may purchase jeans at any thrift shop)
Scheduled Accordingly: Lessons are scheduled separately forthe Absolute Beginners Sewing Machine Class - $15 per hour class. Do you have little or no experience using your sewing machine? This class starts with turning it on, threading, winding a bobbin, attaching feet and accessories. Maintenance, adjusting tension, selecting stitches and stitching them out will also be covered.
